- 450 g soft goats cheese
- 4 slices streaky bacon
- 20 g walnuts
- mango chutney
- dill
- chives finely chopped
- 1 lemon zested
- cracked pepper
- bread
- oil
Remove goats cheese from fridge 10mins prior to start
Toast nuts in a dry pan for approx. 4 mins and then chop finely
Cut bacon into lardons, cook in frying pan with a little oil until crispy. Allow to cool and then chop finely into breadcrumbs
Smear goats cheese onto wooden chopping board or plate
Add mango chutney, bacon & walnuts
Next, add herbs, lemon zest and a little black pepper
Drizzle bread in olive oil and grill until crispy
Smear goats cheese mixture onto bread and enjoy!
Tips/Tricks
- remove goats cheese from the fridge approx. 10min prior to start so that it’s easier to spread
- allow bacon to cool so it crisps up before chopping
- you can add as much or as little of the toppings as you like!
